laryngeal, and articulatory subsystems) in typical speakers and those with speech disorders (e.g., Parkinson&#8217;s disease).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The lab employs interdisciplinary methods from engineering, hearing science, and speech, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>acoustic signal processing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>kinematic analysis of the tongue and lip movements during speech<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>auditory perturbation to study speech perception and production<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Read about some of our
